Bleed is the area of the card that will be trimmed off after printing. For our cards to achieve a "full-bleed" or "borderless" look, you need to extend any artwork, background color, or picture 1/8" beyond the final card size.
Below are examples of "full-bleed" cards.
The red dashed line represents the "cut line". The black solid line on the edge represents the "bleed edge". The area in between those lines represents the "bleed". Within personalization, you will only be able to see the area within the red dashed line once uploaded.
