When planning your wedding stationery, choosing the right sizes and quantities ensures you have everything you need for your big day. We offer specific sizes tailored to each piece of your suite. Most cards are ordered in increments of 10, though there are some exceptions.
Recommended Sizes The following are the standard sizes and formats for our wedding stationery:
- Invitations: 7.0” x 5.125” Flat Card
- Information Cards (also known as Details Cards): 6" x 4.3" Flat Card (Note: these do not include envelopes)
- Response/RSVP Cards: 4.9” x 3.5” Flat Card
- Thank You Cards: 4.9” x 3.5” Folded Card
- Place Cards (also known as Name or Escort Cards): 2.0" x 3.5" Folded Card
- Table Cards: 7.0” x 5.125” Flat Card (Sold in sets of 12)
- Posters and Prints: 11" x 14", 12" x 18", and 8" x 10" sizes (Sold in sets of 2)
Quantity Options and Extras Since you will be mailing one invitation per household rather than per guest, you will likely need fewer cards than your total guest count. We always recommend ordering 10 to 20 extra cards to act as a buffer.
Having extra cards on hand is helpful for last-minute guest additions or address mistakes. You can also use your extra stationery in creative ways:
- Give a clean suite to your wedding photographer to capture flat lay photos.
- Save a set to frame or include in your wedding scrapbook as a keepsake.
- Give a full stationery suite to your parents or close family members.
