It's important to paste values to not override any formulas already on the template. Please use Using the Address Book Templates (Paste Values)article to paste the values in the address book template correctly.
The character limit does not allow me to input how I want my recipient to be addressed on the envelope. How can I fit the whole recipient’s name and title?
Our template only allows for a certain amount of characters due to the print size of the recipient’s name on the envelopes. However, if you are unable to reduce the number of characters of the name any more, then there is a solution that will require two main steps.
Step 1: You’ll be splitting the name onto two lines in the template, so you can input the addresses without any error. The first part of the name will be in the column “Recipient Name” and the second part of the name will be in column “USAddress1” or “IntlAddress1”.
Step 2: Contact the Paper Culture team at paperculture.com/contact with your order number (if available) or proof ID. Please inform our team that some of the recipient names had to be split due to length and to make sure the names are combined to fit on one line.
Our team will confirm that they received your email and make the necessary adjustments to have all the recipient names fit on one line. Keep in mind that since the recipient name exceeds the character limit, when the name is combined it will be scaled down in size when printed on the envelope to fit in the allotted space.
The photo below shows an example of how the envelopes will be printed with the Simple Serif Envelope Design without the recipient’s name exceeding the character limit.

Please note that these images are not true to a print size, but just shows the example of the scaling of the recipient names.
Is there any way to get two lines on the envelopes for names?
Unfortunately, we are unable to make two lines for the names. The design will print as it is shown on screen when you choose your design in your envelope options.
If it’s really necessary to have two lines of names, the only design that will work would be Minimal Block as the Recipient Name and Address lines are both the same font size and font style.
When filling out the template, you’ll want to put the names you want on the first line in “Recipient Name” column and the names you want on the second line in the “USAddress1” or “IntlAddress1” column.
There is a company name along with the address. How do I include that on the template?
Company names can definitely be included in the recipient’s address. In using the Address Book Template, please put the Company name in “USAddress1” or “IntlAddress1” column and the address on “USAddress2” or “IntlAddress2” column.
I still need more room. Is there any way to have one more line?
It’s possible to have one more line for the address if absolutely needed. Please keep in mind, this extra line is for the address and not the recipient name. To accomplish adding another address line, it’s required to follow a few simple steps.
Step 1: Have two copies of the template. On the first copy, make an additional address column. Fill out the template with everything you need on all lines. Save this copy and keep it handy.
On the second copy, you’re going to delete that third address column you created to upload the address book successfully without any errors.
First copy to keep on hand.
Second copy to upload to address book
Step 2: Contact Paper Culture at paperculture.com/contact and attach that first address template to the submission. Inform our team that you’ll need that extra line for the address and the file attached shows the complete addresses for the recipients.
Our team will make give you confirmation that they received the email and file. We’ll make the necessary adjustments to make sure your addresses are as presented in the template before it goes to print.
