When you download the templates, the cells will already have formulas and formats on the cell. When you copy over information, it will copy over the formulas and format from the cell you are copying from. In order to prevent this, please make sure you are only pasting values. Depending on what program you are using, you will need to follow the below steps to paste values only.
Paste Values to Excel
- Copy the cell(s) you want to paste into the template.
- Click on the cell in which you want to paste the information into.
- Go to Edit > Paste Special
- Choose to Paste "Values" only and then press "OK".
Paste Values to Numbers
- Copy the cell(s) you want to paste into the template.
- Click on the cell in which you want to paste the information into.
- Go to Edit > Paste and Match Style
Paste Values to Open Office
- Copy the cell(s) you want to paste into the template.
- Click on the cell in which you want to paste the information into.
- Choose to Paste "Text" only and then press "OK".
